Portrait of Anita, Dan Smith, 2016.
Anita has been working at MSA Ethos as an operator for about three months. With her husband’s family already working in the garment industry, she transitioned smoothly into MSA Ethos after her marriage. She appreciates the provision of transportation to and from work and the dis- play of cordiality and patience from the staff at MSA Ethos, making the factory feel like her home. As an ambitious mother of two sons, she works with the goal of giving her children “the best education [she’s] capable of giving, but [she admits that] what they do with it is in their own hands.”
