The Frida is a strikingly well-made bag. The leather is the real thing, the stitching is clean and consistent, and the structure is excellent. I carry it under my arm and it sits right for that. My small observation is that the strap isn't quite long enough for me to wear it crossbody comfortably. Under-arm it's perfect, but crossbody it pulls a little. If you're buying it primarily as a baguette to tuck under your arm, ignore my note entirely. The quality is genuinely impressive and the hardware is solid and well-finished. The lining is properly attached. This is a bag I'll use for years.
There are baguettes out there with so much hardware and branding they look more like a costume than a bag. The Frida is the opposite: clean lines, quality leather, minimal fuss. I work in finance and I wanted something that looked professional but also felt personal, not like a uniform. The Frida is exactly that. It slides under my arm neatly during meetings, fits in my desk drawer, and doesn't shout about itself. The construction is careful throughout, the stitching is precise, and the interior holds what I need without being overcomplicated. The leather has softened a little over time in the best way.
Love this bag. As a lover of fine handbags, the construction and design of this bag is outstanding. Love the sustainability of this brand too. Definitely recommend this beautiful bag!
I was on the fence about baguettes for a long time -- they felt trendy to me. But a friend had the Frida and I kept noticing how good it looked, so I finally ordered one. It fits more than I expected under the arm, the leather is legitimately beautiful, and it transitions from day to evening without any effort. I wore it to brunch and then straight to a birthday dinner and it worked for both. The stitching is immaculate, the hardware has real weight, and the leather has softened into a lovely suppleness over three months of regular use. It's become the bag I reach for when I want to look put together without thinking too hard about it.
