Retired my rolling suitcase today

I used to haul a rolling suitcase everywhere, and I hated waiting at carousels and wheeling it over cracked sidewalks. After switching to this duffle I walk straight off the plane with my bag on my shoulder. It holds four days of clothes if I pack carefully, and the shape stays tidy. The strap is wide and stable, and the handles feel solid enough for a quick hoist into the overhead bin. The leather has a rich feel that makes the old suitcase seem lifeless. Nothing has loosened or frayed after several trips. I actually enjoy traveling lighter now. Anyone tired of wheels should give this a serious look.

Visiting my daughter in comfort

I am a retired librarian and I fly to visit my daughter every few months. This duffle suits me perfectly because it is light enough for me to lift into the overhead bin without help. I appreciate the wide opening, which lets me pack neatly and find things quickly. The leather is soft and warm to the touch, and the stitching looks wonderfully careful. A flight attendant noticed it and asked about the brand, which made me feel rather stylish. After a year of use it has aged gracefully. I am pleased to own something made so thoughtfully, and I would recommend it to anyone my age who wants a trustworthy travel companion.

Spa weekend with one small gripe

I booked a spa weekend with friends and wanted a bag that felt as relaxing as the getaway. This duffle fits robes and slippers with space for a book, and it looks lovely in the hotel room. The leather is soft and the stitching is beautifully even. My only small complaint is that the bag slumps a little when it is not full, so I stuff a towel inside to keep the shape. That is a minor thing for a bag that is otherwise so well made. The handles are comfortable and the zipper glides smoothly. I would recommend it, and I am already planning my next trip.

Cabin weekends in the snow

We have a small cabin in the mountains, and the drive there is long and often icy. This duffle sits neatly in the back seat and holds my sweaters plus a couple of books for evenings by the fire. The leather handled cold temperatures without turning stiff, which surprised me. I like how the strap holds firm when I trudge through snowy driveways with my other hand full. Stitching has not shifted despite plenty of tugging, and the zipper runs smoothly even with cold fingers. It looks beautiful against the cabin wall when I hang it up. My husband has asked for one of his own for Christmas.
